Ooh, so sad and lonely.
Perhaps I am just accustomed to the Mortuary Splendor of the East Coast, but I will most likely not wish to be buried in Texas.
Lovely, desolate images.
BTW, great seeing you the other day,
LG

Is West Texas in the Valley?

Texas is big and so is the sky. I love the landscape there, 1/4 land, 3/4 sky, it's all about space. Some might think negative space, but not me. Yes, some of these cemeteries are in the valley. If you travel farther east towards Louisiana the gates have a more European influence becoming much more ornate. What you see in this series is the more modest ranch style.
