CRAZY POT

I love this crazy eccentric, over the top, folk art, flower pot. Does anyone recognize it's origin? If you do, please let me know. The colors and glaze quality makes me think late 40's or 50's. The plan is to plant bronze colored grass in it for hair and then use it as a table center piece. This should scare the neighbors!

way fun! love it too! wherever you found it, if i'd been there too, there would've been a fight!

i'm guessing mexican or maybe belize (don't know why, they might do similar kinds of masks.) i love all sorts of masks but my husband is afraid of them without the rust colored grasses! let us see it when it's done!

Never seen one before in my life but it's Fantastic! So much fun and it would make the best centrepiece on a table ever and stir up a lot of conversation while having a dinner party.

It almost seems tiki inspired too. I have a mask I just finished with some black clay I use, this has given me even more inspiration with the extremely bright colors.

I would never use these women for anything they are unethical. and do lousy work. The people that do the work for them are all Mexicans which give them any ideas.
