what a great idea!!!
Kevin, this is outrageously and simply elegant or weird or whatever, but I really do LOVE IT! Are the parasols secured somehow to the limbs of the tree? And oh yeah......BRAVO! :)
gorgeous! so pretty and so simple. especially the variation on the pinks. guess it was a good day at the market!
kevin, you must extrapolate on this. this is freaking adorable. please tell how you secured the parasols and everything else you did to create this truly charming look. i'm dying to know! colin cowie eat your heart out.~janet
All I did you guys was place them in the tree, I didn't secure them, when the breeze came in to push the fog away a few did fall. Although, part of the fun was having the kids hang them back up. One did fall and land on a certain mother in-law, that wasn't fun.
HA! What are you taking about Kevin- here at my house that would be considered LOT'S of fun! ;)
oops that's "talking" HA!
between the ovens PS and NYC, thinking of this was born out of sheer survival!

Love! those umbrellas! So pretty and festive. Great idea. I wish I had a tree close to the house I would totally copy you...;)
Oh lordy...did you just stick them up there for the fun of it? Are they still there? Did you take them down? Did Mary Poppins visit? x Stan

love it...btw, the red chair: i think it was a (really-truly) throne. if i find the notes, i'll give you more info (i never seem to find my notes). it's in Karlsruhe, at the palace (museum) and probably seated members of the family Baden.
Wow, love this shade! And at a great price too :)
