To know me, is to know my all time favorite art is folk art. Although, if you sent me a painting by Paul Gauguin I certainly wouldn't complain, I'm not a snob, just a misfit. So knowing this you can see my delight, when in the mail, came a box of bottle cap snakes all the way from Missouri. Thank you Cathy Cardin you are the best!

So cool! I would drape them around my topiaries on my living room mantel, or wind them around my dining room chandelier! K
I want a painting of you box of snakes!
I see Christmas tree garland.
I almost didn't read this post because I hate snakes so much. Just like a car wreck, I had to look. Glad I did because bottle cap snakes I can handle. Very cool!
You guys are the best. Good ideas everyone of them! I think I have the best followers in the whole wide world.
Those rock! I love them!
Too cool! Id use them as napkin holders at a themed dinner party :)
I knew snakes needed to be at your home! They are easy to take care of: a lttle rain, sunshine and admiration will do. cc
i'm with you on folk art. not sure if it's the all-time favorite but it's a strong contender.
hey thanks for your little note - i haven't been called that since i was about five! yeah, i should give the news a break. look forward to your list and hearing about your dad!
I find these snakes oddly fascinating. I have told a couple of my friends about your box of lovely folk art bottle cap snakes with their cute heads with eyes and little tippy tails on the end.
I am going to start saving bottle caps I think and make a snake of my own. I just LOVE them. They seem strangely life-like as well to me.
Obviously I am not someone who fears snakes and would place them proudly on the mantle next to my tiny bandicoot iron rat. (But that is another story altogether!)
Thanks for the tips!!
~Suzanne :)
I have never seen those before. They're great...
