I love this crazy eccentric, over the top, folk art, flower pot. Does anyone recognize it's origin? If you do, please let me know. The colors and glaze quality makes me think late 40's or 50's. The plan is to plant bronze colored grass in it for hair and then use it as a table center piece. This should scare the neighbors!

Hollywood Palaces
I have been told this is happening in every American city. The old house is torn down, the trees and garden removed and then a new house is built. A really large house. Help! Someone please make it stop!!!!!!! Dear readers, followers, fans, strangers, and stalkers please comment, if this is happening in your city write me and let me know so we can all moan together.

HOLLYWOOD BEDROOMS
Hey you guys, I would like to finish the Apartment Therapy house and garden tour by showing you the bedrooms. There are two, one upstairs, one downstairs. Both kinda small although the upstairs bedroom has windows on all four sides which makes for a pretty good mood. The downstairs bedroom looks north out onto a walled garden. Back upstairs, the black cat sitting on the bed is Elizabeth Taylor, she was injured by a neighborhood cat by the name of Debbie Reynolds, I think Debbie won, this time, which explains the large blue collar. In this same bedroom if you stand on your toes, look over the large pine tree down the street, put on your eye glasses and squint, you can see the Hollywood sign. Unfortunately seeing the sign under these conditions I don't think it will increase my property value. Also, whats nice about the upstairs bedroom is through a french door you can enter onto a deck so you can sleep inside or out, or watch a movie on the eight foot movie screen, have a cocktail and smell the smog which ever you prefer. Thanks for letting me show you the house and thanks for all the wonderful past comments. And last, but not least, thank you Gregory Han for taking such great photos and showing my house and garden on Apartment Therapy.
