To whom it may concern, Yes, there as been little changes to the header photo. This is strictly for my amusement, of course. So don't be alarmed, just enjoy.
If you like, please say so.
Flattery will get you everywhere.
i LOVE it all, esp the straw hat, but what is that, a skull on the coffee table? that was a big animal. sorry i missed you in hollywoodland. i had quite a memorable night. one day we will meet!
Note to readers: NO ANIMALS WERE HARMED IN THIS DISPLAY. All the skulls were found on our ranch in Texas and all the animals died from natural causes, including one human, a relative, which no one in our family like anyway.
And Janet, the large skull is a horse who lived to be very old.
it only rained what, a month? in l.a. but i do get it. you are getting cabin fever (further to the jungle version) and and you want to bring more of the natuaral world inside!
i have ALWAY known people who collected animal skulls and displayed them but oddly i have never had any come my way. so i do not display them. but i think it's a very authentic way of expressing who you are and where you come from. and the fleeting nature of life!
thank YOU for all your nice notes and i toast your new decor! yeah, p.s. i did notice the new cushions too!
I love the symmetry, the white walls, the hat, the bust with the corona, and the bones. Everything is personal, has meaning. You can't do better than that.
This is the first time I have seen your blog and I think it's brilliant! Love your sense of humor! Thank you for stopping by and following Flora Doora! I am flattered!
K...You have what I call a "super model" room....You could drape it in a potato sack and it would still be fabulous....you'd really have to go out of your way to mess it up.....k
Dear Kevin, I do so love the way you combine formal arrangements with the casual, the witty with the serious and the traditional with the contemporary. I think that these contrasts really do make your designs dynamic and stylishly of the moment!
I love the new header! I change mine all the time as I tend to like to see something different. So glad you like my sofa .... I just love it and it is so comfortable. I really like the bust and chandelier in the header and also the tufted sofa ....gorgeous! best wishes Frances

I love everything you do. This would be perfect for Halloween. I'm not into skulls of the real kind...
Love plastic ones at Halloween. But its a beautiful display. Might scare some readers off, though.
It's wonderfully interesting...with a cozy twist, skull and all!
