Hello Kevin:
Against a darkened sky these weather vanes look most effective. Are they traditional in Hollywood?

Love, love, LOVE the owls! But the pirate ships are very appropriate with all the pirate hype going on in Hollywood right now. I think Johnny Depp should have one on his house, just for good measure!

A fantastic collection of images! I think the ships are my favorites. Must be my Pirates of the Caribbean mood....

These are fantastic. I want one on my home so badly. I don't know if it would be allowed in my neighborhood. I few have them....but since it's historic you are not suppose to add anything that is not original. But I have photoshopped one in on a photo before to see how I liked it.

I am enjoying this inspired series, Kevin. And they've taken me back to my childhood, when the early Howard Johnson restaurants had weather vanes of the little boy and the pie man. Remember those?

Love the vanes, especially the pig. We can find interestingly beautiful things around us if we just take the time to look up! Thanks for the wonderful post.
