Yes! I ate this post up. Absolutely love seeing your neighborhood. All that bouganvilla is amazing. We don't have that here. It's an annual in Oklahoma. Oh how I'd love to have a bunch of it growing in my yard. I so want to do a garden arch over my little wall fountain. I found just the one too....but no money to purchase. That is my frustration...never the funds to do all my ideas.
I'm so happy you took our advice.... and posted something I adore right away. I've found some of my posts that I think are most lame turn out to be the most popular. And sometimes one that I think people will like....I get few responses.
I pretty much just blog whatever I'm interested in at the moment.
Beautiful!! Good to see you got your mojo back. how bout a post on the Formosa or some other still around from the great 30's and 40's or 50's place? I went to Cumberland Island and will be posting some pictures in a few days. It was a wonderful tropical forest and great beach-like being in "Lost", sadly with out Sawyer. :(
Hi, Kevin - a beautiful and exotic posting. I've read your last posting as well, and understand how we can feel depleted after a while. But you have an enormous trove of subject matter all around you. What strikes me about the photos of your house is that there are so many things in your header alone that must have interesting stories. I'd love to know who that is in the portrait, for example ... When I think of Hollywood streets I always think of the fabulous colours of the Jackoranda and Bouganvilla, sadly neither can be grown in the UK. You really do capture what makes Hollywood special in your blogs Kevin and why I love to visit.
Beautiful post. Lovely images, so full of color. I just found your blog. I am your newest follower. Check out my blog when you have moment. www.skylarkmanor.com

Hi Kevin! I have to admit, I've completely missed this side of Hollywood on my visits to the West Coast. Something new to explore!

Here you were lacking inspiration and the bougenvillia solved your problem!

That bougainvillea looks beautiful! Thanks for making me miss Southern California on this grey NE day!
bougainvillaea is the shit. i don't know how people in other parts of the country survive without its year-round blooms.
