Hey Al and Helen, This is an apartment building built in 1928. One of my favorite buildings, it's name is Villa d'Este. The soundtrack you hear is a crow for sure, here in Hollywood we have just as many crows as actors, which are both noisy and annoying.
When was the last apartment built with this attention to quality? It reminds me of the legendary Hollywood apartment, the Garden of Allah, built by exotic actress Alla Nazimova. --Road to Parnassus
Kevin, I need to buy a large, a really, really large television and run internet hook ups to it so when I view your post I can set up in front of the screen feel as though I am there. Wonderful posting. – gary
Our goal on this site is to introduce the many places, people, and things in Hollywood. Not the business but the community, the working people, how they live and where. How the business of Hollywood is ever present and so often very far away. Now about Kevin, he is an artist-designer living in an old house in the heart of Hollywood. He has come to realize you never get discovered in Hollywood, you discover Hollywood.
Yes, it's me Kevin. Thanks for dropping in and exploring Hollywood forever, Kevin. I am honored to have you here. I would like to share a few things about myself. I am a designer, an artist, and a dealer of antique and vintage decorative arts. I design residential and commercial interior and exterior spaces. When I'm not designing, I'm sleeping, and even then I may shout out colors. My passion as well, is collecting and selling decorative arts. I am a treasure hunter. So this is where you come in my friend, please join me for a new season, of shopping flea markets, collecting, designing, and new private tours of the best showrooms in the city. I have lots of exciting plans so stay tuned.

What beautiful tile work. A very interesting residence for sure. The sound of the crow in the background is awesome too. How did you arrange that?
This is a beautifully appointed home. I love the architecture. You captured the mystery in the filming - thank you

I enjoyed the courtyard garden and pond. Wish you could have taken us in behind the wrought iron gates. Thank You for the tour....Julian
